Heat Seal Pouches & Lidding

Blister Pack Label (Lidding)

  • Is a term for several types of pre-formed plastic packaging used for small consumer foods, and pharmaceuticals. The primary component of a blister pack is a cavity or pocket made from a formable web, usually a thermoformed plastic. This usually has a lidding seal of aluminum foil or plastic. Blister packs are useful for protecting products against external factors, such as humidity and contamination for extended periods of time. Opaque blisters also protect light-sensitive products against UV rays.

Food Pouches

A retort pouch is a type of food packaging made from a laminate of flexible plastic and metal foils. It allows the sterile packaging of a wide variety of food and drink handled by aseptic processing, and is used as an alternative to traditional industrial canning methods.
